Bugatti Plans for the Super Veyron

Since it's introduction back in 2005, the Bugatti Veyron has become an automotive icon. Not only has it broken records as the world's fastest car, it has made it's mark in automotive history by doing something most people thought was impossible. It was able to travel at 256 mph on one tank of gas.

The Veyron will stop being made in late 2014, but there will be one more model that will be the final bang for the automotive icon. It will be called the Super Veyron. The W16 engine will now be producing 1600 hp, go from 0-60 mph in under 2 seconds, and on to a top speed of around 280 mph. Not bad for the fastest production car in the world.

The new car is planned on being revealed September of 2013 and will most likely go into production sometime next year. Who knows what Bugatti will conjure up as a replacement for the Veyron. Whatever it is, it will have some pretty big shoes to fill.
