Car Review: 2013 Ford Focus ST
1 minute read
Since it's introduction back in 1998, the Ford Focus has become one of the more popular hatchbacks. The Focus is able to carry four people comfortably and also all of their stuff. The one problem was that it didn't have any power. No matter how hard you put your foot to the floor, this car wasn't very fast. Now, that is about to change. There is now a sports version of the popular hatchback.
The car does move when you put your foot down. This goes from 0-60 mph in 6.4 seconds and then on to a top speed of 154 mph. The improved brakes are now much more grabby. So even if you tap the brakes, the car will stop on a dime. The one thing that is disappointing is that if you turn really hard really fast, the car does under steer a little bit. But you do get screeching tires and tire smoke to make up for it.
This car now gives you the best of both worlds. You can have a sensible hatchback for carrying people and their stuff, but you also can have loads of fun, especially when you're on open and twisty roads.
