Introducing the WitStar Concept, Complete With Fish Tank

 

While many cars and concepts were shown off at both the LA and Tokyo Motor Shows, there was another auto show also going on in China. At this auto show, there was one car that really stood out. Simply called the WitStar Concept, this little concept car was built by Guangzhou Auto, a small Chinese car company as well as the hosts of the auto show.

 

Besides the futuristic robotic face, the big exterior features are those big, gullwing doors. Almost looks like it's about to take off. But it's when you get inside when things get really interesting. Not only do the front seats swerve at a complete 180 degrees, the center console in the back is also a see through fish tank complete with actual fish.

 

There is no word on if this fishy concept will even make production. Chances are it's just a way to make the auto show more exciting. Powered by an electric motor, it takes roughly 4.5 seconds just to get to 30 mph and then you'll only get to around 99 mph. I'm not sure whether the fish will be too happy after you cruise around in this little car. They'd probably wind up dead from sloshing around during hard cornering.
