Introducing Project 7 from Jaguar

 

The Jaguar F-Type may be the best car I've driven this year. It'll be very hard for Jaguar to come up with something better than this. But it seems they may have done just that.

 

Known as Project 7, this is a stripped down, racing version of the F-Type. Besides the blue and white paint scheme, other changes include removing the passenger seat so you don't have to deal with anyone screaming while you're on the track. It also has racing tires, a smaller windshield, and a big spoiler in the back.

 

The engine is still the same 5.0 L Supercharged V8 which gets you to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. This should make the debut at the Festival of Speed this weekend very interesting, especially since Jaguar hasn't done any serious racing since the 90's.
