Introducing the SpongeBob Toyota Highlander

 

Well that's a sight you won't soon forget. To get the new Highlander to appeal more to kids and young adults looking to start a family, Toyota has partnered with Nickelodeon to offer a SpongeBob Squarepants themed Highlander.

 

The Highlander was never the best looking car, and now it really isn't. Seeing this car on the road is almost like being in a horror film that never seems to end. Inside, the interior is completely decked out to make passengers feel like they're in Bikini Bottom. The seats are bright yellow each with the face of all the main characters. The one thing that does make the interior quite cool is the ceiling which looks like water. You definitely get the feeling of being under the ocean, or maybe inside a fish tank. Either way, the yellow seats don't look too good.

 

The SpongeBob themed Highlander will debut at the LA Auto Show on November 30th of this year. The SpongeBob theme will be an option for the 2014 Highlander, but it'll probably be better for everyone if no one picked that option for their next Highlander.
