Introducing the ELF, a Bike that thinks it's a Car

When you first look at this, it looks like a regular bike with a roof on it. But actually, it is an electric bike that's battery powered. While you can power this bike yourself, you can turn on the electric motor and it will do the pedaling for you.

Built by Organic Transit, this car/bike can get up to 1800 mpg, but you will be going about the same speed as a snail. Besides plugging the battery in to charge it, there are also solar panels on the roof to charge the battery while you're riding along.

This sounds great for commuters in the city, but there are a few problems. You can't ride it on the sidewalk or on any bike trails because the bike has a motor attached to it. You also can't park it on the side of the road, unless you're dropping someone off or loading it up. The only place you can ride it is on the road and that's about it.
