Introducing the "Extra Terrestrial Vehicle"

Scientists have concluded that there are roughly 6000 different planets that may have the possibility of supporting life. But, if there are extra terrestrials living on other planets, what kind of cars would they be driving? Many people believe that they would drive around in flying spaceships. But this futuristic looking car, made by car builder Mike Vetter from Florida, may also be what comes to mind.

Known as an "Extra Terrestrial Vehicle" or ETV, this kit car is based off of a Chevy Cobalt SS and uses the same four cylinder engine. Other than the engine and chassis, everything else is completely different. The doors open in a scissor like shape, the LED lights under the car create an out of this world light show, and unlike other kit cars, this is road legal. It's at least road legal in Florida.

The car just sold on Ebay for a staggering $100,000. That is quite a lot for a toy, but from the looks and attention you'll get, it might be well worth it. What swimsuit model wouldn't love to drive around in a car that looks like it's from both the future and outer space?
