Second Special Edition Veyron Revealed to Honor Jean Bugatti

 

Today, Bugatti is known for only one car, the absolutely insane Veyron. But back in the 1930's, they were known for a different car: the Type 57SC Atlantic. Not only was this a fast and gorgeous car, it was designed by Jean Bugatti, son of Bugatti founder Ettore Bugatti.

 

This second special edition of the Veyron features a black carbon fiber exterior and a mocha leather interior. Everything in this Veyron is made to reflect and celebrate the Type 57SC Atlantic that Jean designed back in the 1930's. Apart from the striking body, it's powered by the same 8-liter W16 engine that has around 1200hp and a 0-60 mph time of just 2.6 seconds.

 

There will only be three of these special edition Veyrons made and each will have a price of around $3 million. So chances are the only time you'll ever see one is this week at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
