Introducing the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster
When Lamborghini showed off the Veneno last summer at the Geneva Auto Show, it made people step back a little. Mostly from the insane looks, but mostly because they didn't want to get stabbed by the sharp edges in front. It cost $4 million and only three were ever made. It was also Lamborghini's way of celebrating it's 50th birthday.
So how can you make a car as scary and rare as the Veneno even scarier? Simple, just take the roof off. Everyone knows that taking a roof off of a normal car makes it much more exciting to drive. Taking the roof off this car will most likely have you wetting yourself when you put your foot down. Powered by the same V12 in the original Veneno, this gets from 0-60 mph in just 2.9 seconds and then to a top speed of 220mph; the same as the regular Veneno.Thankfully, there will be more than three models built. Sadly though, there will only be nine of the roadster models built. Don't bother wasting time saving your money, because this will cost around $5.3 million. That's over $1 million more than the coupe version. Thanks to carbon fiber everywhere, this car is lighter than the coupe version, so it probably is much scarier.
I'm sure the nine lucky few who do buy the roadster version will have an incredible experience unless it starts raining. The one problem is there's no place to put the roof. So if it does start to rain, you will have to move quickly to get home. Thankfully, you have a 740-hp V12 with an ear bleeding scream to get you home quickly. That noise and speed will definitely make up for the lack of a roof and a wet interior.
