Introducing the 2014 Bentley Flying Spur

2 minute read

Nothing is quite as classy and sophisticated than British luxury cars. If you come across an Aston Martin or a Bentley, you automatically know you're either in a very classy area or completely lost.

For decades, Bentley has been making cars for the wealthy class. But now, it looks like they may have run out of ideas when it comes to the look. This may be a whole new model, but it still looks very identical to all the other Bentley's being made. You know it's an extraordinary car, but it lacks any imagination. You know that no one in the design department wanted to take any risks or think outside the box.

When you step inside, you're in for quite a shock. If you've ever been in a luxury car, the Flying Spur will make any other luxury car wet itself, except if it's an Aston Martin or a Rolls Royce. The entire inside is coated with the freshest leather and the most natural wood you've ever seen.

But it's in the back where you're really going to be surprised. Being in the back of the Flying Spur is a combination of a high end plane with a classy hotel. There are not only TV screens behind the seats, but even trays if you want to get some work done or have a midnight snack. There's even a built in fridge to keep your drinks cold.

Being a luxury sports sedan, there is plenty of power under the hood. The Flying Spur is equipped with a 6.0 L W12 engine with 616 hp. Capable of going from 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds and then on to a top speed of 200 mph. You definitely won't be bored behind the wheel. Despite all that power, this is a very quiet car when you start it up. So even though it has plenty of power, it feels like a simple and comfortable car.

So despite not lacking any imagination in the looks department, Bentley still has given something worth loving with the new Flying Spur. It bathes itself in luxury and isn't afraid to enter into the sports car territory.

Special thanks to Bentley Boston and the Granite Links Country Club
