Aston Martin DBC: Aston Martin's First Mid-Engined Sports Car

1 minute read

For over 100 years, Aston Martin have been a traditional British car maker. All their cars have had the same concepts: a big engine in the front, rear wheel drive, and the most luxurious interior you'll ever see. Unfortunately, tradition does become a bit boring after a while. Aston Martin has many different models, but they all look and sound almost identical. The only one that's different was the One-77. Now, there may be change coming to the British car maker.

It's called the DBC, and it will be Aston Martin's first mid-engined sports car. There are only two engine options, the baby V8 or the monster V12. Chances are the V12 will be picked because it's better and scarier. No word on what the interior will look like or what the performance figures are, but they're bound to be incredible.

Of course, most people don't like change. Hopefully, if this car is made well, it may bring a whole new meaning to the words Aston Martin. A production date hasn't been released yet nor has a price been released either, but chances are it will be in the $200,000 range. When this car does arrive, this may go into the history books along with other great cars like the DB5 and the DB9.
